Had some problem with air leaking in our previous solution for injectors, so we decided to make proper injector seats.
We did the first startup of the m103 turbo w201 yesterday. A bit of trouble with setting up the trigger-sensor correctly and had to play with the settings of the ECU, Megasquirt MS3X, Engdahl Motorsport both made us a start-map aswell as supported us on the go with some feedback regarding timing. http://www.engdahlmotorsport.se/ The engine […]
Found an acceptable manifold online which fit except for the WG which we had to reroute a bit. Turbo is a Schwitzer S200 with 0.85 AR.
We used a throttle body from a Volvo 960 since it has a real TPS sensor unlike the stock M103 which only has a WOT switch. We then coupled that with the wiring etc. from a Volvo B230E. Next was converting the kjet injector seats to use bosch style injectors which turned out to be […]
M103 manifold electronic injectors http://mbturbo.com/car/w201-m103-3-0/ Converting the KJET intake of a M103 to use bosch style injectors turned out to be pretty easy! Get a fuelrail from a M104 Grind down the intake a bit Done Om606 http://mbturbo.com/car/w123-om606/ m110 Turbo manifold http://mbturbo.com/car/w123-m110-turbo/
Ordered a gearbox and clutch+flywheel from bakaxeldelar as mentioned earlier.
How deep the flywheel sits in regards to the teeths on a om606 engine, also apliable to m102, m103 and other diesel engines such as the om602, om603 and om605
Start by getting the water and cooler of. This is very easily done by loosening the three bolts on each side of cooler-bar, by the headlights. There is also one screw in the center, down by the bumper. After this you loosen the hose going to the water coolant reserv and collect the water coming out into something. […]
Got the timing wheel installed. It’s a 60-2 wheel from Turbobandit in Sweden meant for the M103 crank pulley. I’m very pleased with this piece. It is the same thickness as and therefor replaces the balancer. It’s a pretty simple process in theory but I had some problem getting the harmonic balancer of since I […]
